May 31, 2013 – A message from Saving the School Scholarship Fund board members Stacy Brick, Anabel Garza, Shannon Strong and Rachel Hull:

“I’m pleased to announce that we presented the 2013 Saving the School scholarship this afternoon to Claudio Ibarra. Claudio has earned over 25 college credits and has maintained a 3.7 GPA while working full time. He will be attending Texas A&M in the Fall and will major in Engineering. After seeing all the amazing applications we have been inspired to continue the scholarship fund and will be planning another fundraiser in early 2014.
I can’t thank you all enough for your support and to know that an amazing student like Claudio dosen’t have to worry about tuition next year is beyond words.”
